For the third consecutive year, the Cape Elizabeth boys hockey team participated in the Cape Challenge 5k, an annual fundraising race that benefits the Cape Elizabeth High School, Cape Middle School, and Pond Cove Parent's Associations.

This year, 10 Capers ran the race in addition to both varsity coaches. Alex Glidden had the best time of any of the hockey players, finishing the race in 22:53, good for 27th place out of 327 runners, earning him bragging rights until next year's competition.

It is extremely important to note that Coach Marston and Coach Buotte finished 1st and 2nd in their age group (the 19-29 age group had 4 competitors) respectively.
